Lindsey Taylor
Lindsey Taylor is a dancer, choreographer and visual artist working in Austin, TX. She received a BFA in Dance from the University of Texas, and went on to create the award-winning interpretive dance trio Little Stolen Moments. Lindsey’s work with LSM encompasses a decade of performances all over Austin, and was voted Best Dance Company by the Austin Chronicle Reader’s Poll 2010. In 2016, Lindsey was named Best Dancer by the Austin Chronicle Reader’s Poll. Her choreographic work is recognized in contemporary dance and comedy, including appearances with Master Pancake Theater and opening for the legendary Neil Hamburger. Her professional dance experience includes collaboration with the multi-disciplinary group, Total Unicorn, Sheep Army/Elsewhere Dance Theater, Thor & Friends, Foot Patrol and LA-based Die Kranken, as well as appearances with Blue Lapis Light, Sharir + Bustamante Danceworks, and Jennifer Sherburn Dance. Lindsey has presented at SXSW and OUTsider Festival in Austin, CODAME is San Francisco, CIMMfest in Chicago, Performatica in Puebla, Mexico, and on the Texas Underground Tour throughout France. She is currently exploring dance for film, creating music videos, working on an independent feature, and has had her work screened at the ADF International Screendance Festival, Austin Music Video Festival, and Brooklyn’s SCREAMDANCE! International Dance Horror Short Film Fest.
