Johnny Walker

My art practice is centered upon an interest in situations, interactions, and conditions. I have worked with live animals, projected movies onto clouds, constructed playground equipment for adults, brought together groups of strangers to make art collectively, designed soft architecture utilizing wind and light, recreated UFO sightings, and am currently launching a company that retails in weather.

Art is always in flux, drifting upon a river of changing contexts. Our encounters with art bring it into being. It touches our memory while leading us to directly engage the present. I try to create work that opens up possibilities by offering new perspectives on aspects of our lives that are so common that they too often pass unnoticed.
