CB Goodman is the Artistic Director and founder of Grackle Jack Productions based in Austin, Texas that specialize in creating original comedic performance that center around current social issues using humor and vulnerability to reach for a new understanding. Known for its inspired use of puppetry, clown, bouffon, drag, music, and text, the company often works from incongruent historical events and literature as source material, blending and mapping divergent strands into multifaceted performance.

Her work has been presented at venues in Austin, Atlanta, New Orleans, Charlotte, and New York City. She currently teaches workshops in making new work, solo playmaking, devising, puppetry, and clown.

In The Beginning is the winner of Best Clown, Top Grossing, and the Jill Miersch Award at Frigid Festival, Producer’s Choice Award at Atlanta Fringe Festival, and Best Solo at the B. Iden Payne Awards and is the proud recipient of ScriptWorks Revision Resource Grant.
