ANTONY HAMILTON + ALISDAIR MACINDOE
Antony Hamilton is a multi-award winning Australian dancer and choreographer. His critically acclaimed performances involve a sophisticated melding of movement, sound and visual design, and traverse subject matter from formal physical study to the world of the fantastic. Antony’s works are regularly presented across Europe, Australia and Asia. Recent works include ‘MEETING’, ‘NYX’ and ‘Black Project 1 & 2’, along with the commissions ‘Sentinal’ (Skanes Dansteater) and ‘Keep Everything’ (Chunky Move).
Alisdair Macindoe is a New York and Melbourne-based artist working across dance and sound art. As a dancer, he has worked extensively with major Australian companies including Lucy Guerin Inc., Chunky Move and numerous independent artists and has received the prestigious Helpmann Award for Best Male Dancer. As a sound designer, composer and instrument builder he has collaborated with many Australian artists and companies and has been awarded three consecutive Green Room Awards for composition for dance.
