Katie Bender is a playwright, performer, and theater maker. Her plays include Still Now, The Fault, One Night Only, The Survivors, as well as collaborative work with Underbelly. Her work has been developed or produced at The New Harmony Project, Kitchen Dog, The Orchard Project, Shrewd Productions, New Victory LabWorks, Icicle Creek Festival, ZACH Theatre and The Playwrights’ Center, where she was a 2016-2017 Jerome Fellow. She is a co-creator of Underbelly, on the 2015 Kilroys List, a finalist for the inaugural Shakespeare’s Sister Fellowship, and a 2017 Jerome travel grant recipient. She is currently playwright-in-residence at the Susanna Dickinson Museum. MFA: UT Austin

Rachel Mars is a London based performance maker with a background in theatre, live art and comedy. She explores the idiosyncratic cultural and political constructs that inform the way we, as people, are just trying to figure it all out. It interweaves personal reflection with universal questions of justice and place. Recent commissions have included Royal Court, Fuel Theatre, Home Live Art and Ovalhouse. She is a fellow at the Birkbeck Centre of Contemporary Theatre, London and a regular contributor to ‘Pause for Thought’ on BBC Radio 2. Our Carnal Hearts (which premiered at Fusebox) received the Total Theatre Award for Innovation at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017. Her most recent show ROLLER, was the winner of the 2017 Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award, and premiered at The Barbican, London in November 2017.

Gabrielle Reisman is a New York and New Orleans based playwright and director, and a founding member of Underbelly. She is a Core Writer with The Playwrights Center, was an NNPN Playwright in Residence, and an Ingram New Works Lab Fellow. Her play, Catch the Wall received a Rosa Parks Award from The Kennedy Center, the Holland New Voices Award, and appeared on the inaugural Kilroys List. She’s developed and presented plays with Sundance Theatre Lab, MacDowell, Clubbed Thumb/Playwrights Horizons, The Orchard Project, Page 73, The NOLA Project, and The Vortex among others. Her play, Jeune Terre, a co-commission between the EST/Sloan Project and Barnard New Plays premiered in NYC in March.
