Open Studio: Becoming Bats

Linh Le
Presented in partnership with Museum of Human Achievement

Artist-in-residency: Performance artist and climate justice activist Linh Le Collaboration with MoHA (US) and WH9 (DK)

Ambassador of the long-eared bat, will go to Austin, Texas to scream and fly with the world’s largest urban bat colony! Linh Le will undertake a 1-month residency in Austin, Texas as part of the CopenhAustin residency initiative. As part of the residency period, Linh Le will host an open studio of their practice as part of the Fusebox Festival. Linh Le invites anyone interested to participate in exploring variations of screams and flying, inspired by the sound and movement patterns of the bats.

Open studio: April 13 & 14 from 2 pm – 4.30 pm at MoHA. Interested in something more interactive? Come at 3 pm where Linh Le will give a 20 minutes guided meditation in becoming bats!

Together, we fly and scream for the survival of bats in our time of climate and biodiversity crisis.
