There There

Andrew Bujalski
Presented in partnership with The Museum of Human Achievement

“There There” is an immersive three-screen installation experience adapted and expanded from Andrew Bujalski’s 2022 movie of the same name. Across a series of interconnected “duet” scenes on themes of trust and belief, the audience is invited to stand literally in the space between characters, to witness the stitching together of their performances, and to examine the distance we ourselves traverse with every leap of faith in another person…

Onscreen(s) are a brilliant and eccentric array of performers: Lili Taylor, Jason Schwartzman, Molly Gordon, Lennie James, Avi Nash, Annie La Ganga, Roy Nathanson, and Jon Natchez.

Andrew Bujalski has written and directed seven feature films, including Funny Ha Ha, Computer Chess, and Support the Girls. There There is his first installation piece. He lives in Austin.

Sponsored by Austin Film Society and Rusha and Co. with support from Scott Sloan
