Autumn Knight

M _ _ _ ER is a solo work by interdisciplinary artist Autumn Knight that considers how the concepts of “mother,” “murder,” and “matter” shape experiences of intimacy, utilizing non linear improvisation, sculpture, and manipulation of scenic elements like light and sound as tools for deeper inquiry.

From Fusebox We’ve been wanting to do something with Autumn Knight for many years now. So this feels particularly exciting to see this finally coming to fruition, thanks to our wonderful partnership with Women & Their Work. The way that Autumn creates a live situation is so unique. She skillfully plays with and explores group dynamics–rewriting the rules and destabilizing our understanding of things. Autumn’s work ultimately helps shift our perception of race, gender, and authority. We’re thrilled to be co-presenting this with Women and Their Work.
