Katie Bender, Rachel Mars, Gab Reisman

Bender / Mars / Reisman is made of writer-performers Katie Bender, Rachel Mars, and Gab Reisman. Bender and Reisman have worked together as Underbelly since 2013, staging immersive journey plays with ZACH Theatre (Alice in Wonderland) and Rude Mechs Rude Fusion program (Church of the Passionate Cat). Mars is a London-based performance maker, winner of Edinburgh Fringe’s Total Theatre Award for Innovation, Experimentation, and Playing with Form for Our Carnal Hearts (Fusebox 2016). She premiered Roller with Mars.tarrab at Barbican London in November 2017. Bender / Mars / Reisman mixes Underbelly’s ecstatic style with Rachel Mars’s political, observational wit.
