Krudas Cubensi

Odaymar Cuesta and Olivix Prendes born & raised in Cuba founded the queer feminist band in 1999 with Odalys Cuesta (Wanda Kruda) in Havana. Pioneers of feminist cuban Hip Hop, Odaymar and Olivix migrated to United States In 2006, and relocated to Austin, TX, the “International Live Music Capital.”

From there until today they have been performing, recording, giving workshops, educating and touring in many countries in Europe, The Caribbean, North, Central and South America, including SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas; the Lincoln Center and S.O.B.s in NYC; the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts in Washington, DC; Fabrica de Arte Cubano in Havana, Cuba among other spaces.
