The Octopus Project
Based in Austin, TX, The Octopus Project has been making music and touring the world since 2002, following a musical path that veers through blown-out rock’n’roll, vibrant electronics, surreal pop and expansive psych landscapes. Their sixth and latest album was 2017’s Memory Mirror, and their third feature film score, for the movie Damsel, was released in 2018.
The band has also designed and performed a number of installation-based shows exploring spatialized sound and immersive video and lighting design, including Hexadecagon in 2010 and 2015’s Shapes (and Other Shapes), which was included in that year’s Fusebox festival.
