Celebrating the first issue of FUTURE SOLITUDE, a new Austin-based art series and lifestyle brand, FS Creative Director, Kenyon Adams has curated three performance works with support and partnership from Fusebox Festival. With their soaring, dexterous renderings of human relation—pairing Farrish’s ongoing, rigorous and refreshingly sincere excavations of love, rage, and selfhood, alongside Fraley’s exultant, ritual homage to brotherhood and belonging—these intimate performances embody the spirit of FS in their tender holding of subjectivity and desire. The evening of curated dance works brings to Austin two of New York’s most exciting, performance-based artists.

FUTURE SOLITUDE is an interdisciplinary art series and lifestyle brand founded and led by artist and creative director, Kenyon Adams. The project is based on the idea that “solitude is a human right”, one which is necessary for self actualization and for the enjoyment of citizenship. FUTURE SOLITUDE speculates and proposes modes and sites of leisure through artistic projects including performances, culinary events, photography, and writing, as well as through curated objects, lifestyle scenes, and profiles that relate to and encourage the notion of leisure, solitude, and enjoyment for all people.
