Kid Koala’s latest project is a remarkable live cinema event, featuring a team of 14 performers, miniature sets, live puppetry, gorgeous cinematography, and live music by Kid Koala and a string trio. Each show is performed, filmed, projected and scored in real time.
About the artist: Koala’s career began as a scratch DJ in 1994, rapidly growing a cult fan base. Ever innovating, his practice evolved to combine turntables with analog machines + visual storytelling devices to create his signature style. He has toured with Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, DJ Shadow and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
