One with Others

What does it mean to be seen, handled, used and needed? Via choreography, handyman arts, and text, One with Others explores “legacy”—what we hand down to one another, or lure one another into.
A group/dance performance project on biography, choice, and communication, One with Others looks to crude, handmade objects to extend, express, and make sense of our bodies, our interactions, our desires, and even our identities.
Dance and language are taught to us by others, and yet we find ways to mark our individuality in the world. This piece dismantles and then cobbles back together relationships between people, within ourselves, and between affinities and art.
