4 Plus 4 Equals is a unique citywide visual art project designed to raise public awareness and provoke conversation about mental health. Four visual artists and four people in mental health recovery (peers) have co-created art works that illuminate their experiences in new ways that empower and inspire.
Look for 4 Plus 4 Equals posters throughout central Austin beginning in early December. You’ll see them on your way to work, biking to a friend’s house or hanging out at your favorite coffee shops. We hope the images will spark your curiosity, invite new ways of thinking and inspire conversation.
