Department of Transformation Workshop with Prem Krishnamurthy
Day 4: Bumpiness
When things are not smooth, we are forced to slow down, pay attention, and learn. Day 4 of Department of Transformation focuses on Bumpiness. Seeking out a context to leave our comfort zones, we’ll embrace the shared vulnerability and awkwardness of GROUP KARAOKE! This seminar/impromptu party will be a side room of the Fusebox final night festivities.
Fusebox + FÖDA are partnering to host the Department of Transformation: a five-day workshop imagined and led by acclaimed designer/author Prem Krishnamurthy. This multi-day series examines how art can be transformative for individuals, groups, and society, and explores strategies for transforming art in the future

About FÖDA:
FÖDA is diligence and humility. FÖDA is an analysis, a 7,265–day ongoing exploration in applying form and utility to our client’s intentions. We’ve delivered over 700 assignments, each making experiences more memorable, brands more competitive, or companies more profitable.
First-time dreamers and established entrepreneurs entrust us with their vision and challenges. Chefs, architects, and maestros translate their beliefs through us. Their fieldwork has taken us from Berlin to Bentonville, Tampa to Tokyo, sifting through data, discovering practical advantages, and mapping critical context.
We’ve provided a $2B company with a new identity yet produced artifacts as tiny as a paperclip. We’ve helped shape both an airfield and an art museum. We’ve given an image to a symphony just as we have a name to a restaurateur’s concept.
Bring us your challenge, intention, dream, wicked problem
—the odds are better than 92% that we’ll solve it.
The outcome will likely be quite handsome.
Art, after all, is one of our tools.
