Channeling an interest in geometric abstraction and its historical roots in textiles, architecture, nature, and ritual; space-specific interventions will be created for Fusebox’s energetic hub space.  Exploring ideas of transcendence through ancient geometry, future forecasting, and insect vision- dense, colorful, and pattern rich two and three-dimensional works will be created to enhance and enliven the festival’s space.

From Fusebox Erin Curtis has long been one of my favorite visual artists in Austin. I first met her through our relationship with MASS Gallery many years ago. We are thrilled to see what she creates at our Festival Hub this year. What we know so far sounds super awesome: “ancient geometry, future forecasting, and insect vision”…I mean, come on.
